1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using DamnGoodTrade, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

DamnGoodTrade is a trade review and analysis platform for thinkorswim traders. The service helps you review past trades, measure execution quality, and identify behavioral patterns. Features include:

  • CSV import from thinkorswim with automatic trade reconstruction.
  • Trade replay on 1-minute candlestick charts.
  • MFE/MAE excursion analysis and entry/exit quality scoring.
  • Natural language analytics via the command bar.
  • Trade notes, journals, and campaign tracking.

3. Educational and Informational Purpose Only

DamnGoodTrade is for educational and informational purposes only. We do not provide financial, investment, or legal advice. The platform analyzes your past trades — it does not make predictions, recommendations, or trading signals. Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Trade replays and charts are reconstructed from historical 1-minute bar data — they are market simulations, not live or tick-level recordings. Excursion metrics (MFE/MAE) for option trades are estimated from underlying price movement using delta approximation, not actual contract premiums. These are analytical tools to support your own review process, not definitive measures of what was achievable.

4. User Accounts

You may use DamnGoodTrade without an account. Anonymous usage stores all data locally in your browser. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

DamnGoodTrade offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription at $49/month. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain Pro access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change applies to their subscription.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all trade data you upload. We do not claim any rights to your data. You may export your data as CSV at any time from your account page, and you may delete your account and all associated data at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the platform.
  • Scrape data or use automated systems to access the service without permission.
  • Share your account credentials with others.
  • Circumvent rate limits or usage quotas.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DamnGoodTrade shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits or revenues (including trading losses), whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated terms on our website or by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
